2010 Northeast Regional Council
About the Council
The USAT Northeast Regional Council is comprised of elected volunteer directors from the seven states that comprise the Northeast Region (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont).
The Regional Council meets at least twice annually to establish budgets, approve and coordinate regional programs, and conduct such other business as requested or directed by the national office.

A little more about our team...
Bill Burnett is the Founder of Streamline Events, LCC. Streamline Events produces the Commonwealth Triathlon Series which consists of Massachusetts races in Cohasset, Nantucket, and Marlborough. Bill is passionate about bringing new people into the sport and executing high quality races in New England. Bill is a USAT Certified Race Director
Kat Donatello joined the USAT NE Council in 2008 and has served as its secretary since her appointment and re-election in 2009. Her focus has been to bring quality world class events to the Northeast Region while keeping the lines of communication open with the Age Group Athletes the Council serves. She serves on numerous committees within USAT on both a regional and national level. Currently she is the Pumpkinman Triathlon Festival Event Director, USAT Certified Race Director, USAT NE Board of Council Officer and USAT National Age Group Committee Member.
David Levesque from Meredith, New Hampshire has been on the USAT NE Council for two terms. He has been participating in triathlons for 10 years and has raced every distance from super sprints to Ironman. In 2004, he founded the Granite State Triathlon Club 6 years ago. David enjoys working and training with friends and hopes to continue to work with clubs and younger athletes as the sport continues to grow.
Kurt Perham is the coaches liaison on the council. He is a USA Triathlon Level III Elite coach and has competed in Multisport and Endurance events since 1989.
Kathy Robbins is owner of TRIMOM Productions, LLC in RI. She produces the SUPERKids Triathlon, Crabman and OH MY GODDARD! Sprints as well as the Ocean's Run 1/2 Marathon and 5K. This year, Kathy has jumped into the position of Youth Coordinator for the region and is actively working on campaigns to continue to educate and grow the youth participants in the Northeast Region!
Matt Valyo is the Regional Athlete Development Coordinator (RADC) for USA Triathlon Northeast. His primary function is to identify individuals in the junior ranks with the potential for national and international competition. He is currently certified as a USAT Level 2 Coach.
Kevin Walsh has been racing and supporting the multisport lifestyle for 10 years. Kevin volunteers at local races to promote participation at all levels of USA Triathlon.
